The students at Bergen Academies in Hackensack, NJ are now utilizing two new spaces designed by RSC Architects this school year, an Art Classroom and a Music Classroom.
The art classroom incorporates a variety of work spaces including a display area, a 3-D sculpture space, a graphic design computer station, and a 2-D painting/drawing area. Clean lines define the components, while creative lighting, varying height walls, and soffits offer organization and an open feeling of spaciousness to the complex layout.
A rising curved wall at the entryway immediately draws one into the music classroom's inviting atmosphere. Finished in vibrant colors, the music classroom houses a choral practice area with four levels of risers to emulate the sense of being in front of a large audience. Located at the rear of the space is a small acoustically isolated room with a unique undulating ceiling for a more intimate setting for keyboard study.

in AutoCad, Excel, and Word and fluency in English (spoken and written) are required.
